March 2010 Contract Tentative Agreement Vote

The March 2010 Contract Tentative Agreement ratification vote is being conducted by electronic ballot using the telephone and Internet, through the BallotPoint Election Services voting system.  Ballots will be mailed out March 15, 2010 to each member in good standing. The election results will be available April 1, 2010, posted here and bulletin boards soon after.

Polls for this election:

OPEN at 12:00 Noon CT on Monday, March 15, 2010
CLOSE at 12:00 Noon CT on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Voting Instructions:

    • If you have your VIN (voter ID number) and PIN (personal ID number), skip to Step 2. Otherwise:
    • Call 1‑866-TWU-ATD1 (1-866-898-2831) from within the United States or Canada.
    • When requested, enter the Activation Code shown on the front of this page.
    • Write down the VIN (voter ID number) spoken to you.
    • Enter a PIN (personal ID number) of your choice, and confirm. Write down the PIN with your VIN.
    • Your VIN and PIN are your permanent voting credentials. Save them for all future elections.
    • If you don’t want to immediately vote by phone, hang up and skip to Step 2.
    • Follow the prompts to vote. Done!

American Eagle Airlines Reached a Tentative Agreement

 

Brothers and Sisters,

On Thursday January 14, 2010 your negotiations committee and American Eagle Airlines reached a tentative agreement on the Aircraft Maintenance & Related and Fleet Service contracts.

This tentative agreement provides for lump sum signing bonuses for all of our members. It also provides for additional lump sum payments throughout the life of the Twenty Four month agreement.

It is our anticipation to share the details of the tentative agreement with you in the next few weeks.

We appreciate your patience and we are optimistic that this tentative agreement will be ratified.
